Welcome!

I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m Katie, a social media enthusiast and lover of my Catholic faith and Midwestern roots.

When I’m not working, you’re likely to find me drinking craft beer, hiking long trails alone, listening to a psychological thriller, praying in the dark corner of a chapel, or running a high school leadership club in St. Louis.

From the Beginning

I’ve always had a passion for crafting authentic messages and communicating truth creatively.

As a tween, I wrote a newspaper of local happenings for the neighbors. In high school, I penned novellas about my friends and revived the student paper.

After getting a Journalism degree from Marquette University, this Chicago native moved to the Big Apple and got a job at the New York Times! Dream come true… only it wasn’t! It didn’t take me long to realize 9-5 cubicle life was not for me.

In 2009, desperately seeking a creative outlet while freelancing as a business reporter, I started a fashion blog. Eventually, that hobby turned into a side hustle and then into my full-time job!

At its peak, ModlyChic had more than 165,000 IG followers and gave me the opportunity to work with brands like Facebook, Clorox, Olay, Land Rover, Stella Artois, Lee Denim, and so many more!

From Journalist to Influencer:

From Influencer to CEO:

In 2019, I took a step back and considered if I wanted to be an influencer at 40 and 50 and 60. The answer was a resounding NO. But I also didn’t want to leave social media behind.

So… I took everything I learned from 10 years of influencer work, combined it with my love for intentional, truth-driven messaging, and launched Rosebud Social Strategies!

Best Decision Ever!!!

Now, I’m blessed to help Catholic businesses and mission-minded brands navigate the world of social media in an intentional, person-centered way. I get to bring truth, goodness, and beauty into the world - one post, one business, one story at a time.

Meet the Team

Aixa Gomez

Creative Director

In my role as creative director, I oversee the creative aspects of the content we create for our clients. This means creating a lot of the graphics, guiding the account managers in their creation process, and working with clients to hone their look.

The best part of working at Rosebud Social is the opportunity to integrate my faith into my work.

In my spare time, you'll find me rearranging my furniture, reading fashion history books, buying ANOTHER plant, experimenting with cocktails, and wandering art museums.

Gabby Quinlan

Lead Account Manager

As an account manager, I work with several companies as well as the Rosebud Social team to create beautiful and meaningful social media content.

I’m a graduate of the University of Dallas where I studied English.  I love the arts in all forms, and Rosebud Social has given me the opportunity to fuse my intellectual and visual creativity.

In my free time, you might find me listening to audiobooks, walking around the lake near my apartment, getting way too competitive at game nights, trying out a new recipe, or hanging out with my wonderful husband and daughter!

Mary Grace Quinlan

Head of Web

I work as an account manager at Rosebud, creating content and sharing the best qualities of our businesses.

I taught in the elementary classroom for the past 6 years designing lessons and materials to engage my learners. I am excited to use that creativity and planning experience to spotlight beautiful media and messages of the businesses we work with.

When I’m not working, you can find me browsing the local bookstore for great literature, going for long runs, or spending time with my MANY nieces and nephews.

Anna Foreman

Account Manager

I’m on the team as a social media manager, and I help and assist to bring strategy and creativity together—crafting content, writing captions, and designing posts that connect.

I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in journalism, and entered the digital creative space after college to pursue my love of storytelling and connecting with people through content creation and engagement.

In my free time, you’ll find me either in the kitchen baking, or thrifting with an iced coffee in hand—but I feel the most like myself when I’m home with my husband and our family.

Bri Avila

Account Manager

As a part-time social media account manager, I get to combine creativity with strategy—designing content that’s visually polished, purposeful, and true to each brand’s voice.

I studied Film and Television at the University of Notre Dame, where I fell in love with visual storytelling. Whether I’m editing a video or refining a feed’s aesthetic, I’m always thinking about how to make content feel as good as it looks.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me trying a new coffee shop, cueing up a true crime podcast, curating a playlist, or challenging someone to a friendly-yet-fierce game of Scrabble.

Amy Bjornstrom

Contractor - Content Creator

As a content creator, my job is to assist the other account managers and design and edit content for various clients.

I've been a photographer for the past 8 years and have a bachelors in Graphic Information Technology at ASU. I love getting to use my graphic knowledge and artistic experience to promote amazing businesses. One of my favorite things about working with Rosebud Social is getting to combine my love of the faith with art!

When I'm not behind a computer, you can find me behind a camera, exploring one of the local beaches, in the kitchen baking or spending time with family and friends.

Brisket

Mascot/Guard Dog

This german shepherd puppy is the team mascot and trouble-maker!

He loves long hikes with Katie, meeting new people, and playing fetch for hours.

You might just see him in the background of a Zoom call as he naps in the office.

Mallary Kohlmeyer

Account Manager

I'm a social media manager from Long Island, New York, with nearly a decade of experience in the industry – I've been doing this since before Instagram even had Stories (that's almost 10 years for those keeping count!).

I specialize in supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs, helping them build authentic online communities through strategic social media storytelling. My approach focuses on creating meaningful connections and sharing content that brings genuine joy and inspiration to your audience.

When I'm not scrolling the 'gram for work (or fun), you can find me exploring new places, striking up conversations with strangers, getting lost in a good book, or discovering wine bars and vineyards. I love traveling, catching Broadway shows, tackling DIY projects, and experimenting with gluten-free recipes in my kitchen. My friends constantly joke that I'm always taking pictures… and I’ve got the iPhone storage (or lack there of!) to prove it.
